THIS IS GOING TO MAKE LIBERALS NUTS -- AS IF THEY WEREN'T ALREADY THERE
boortz.com: Nealz Nuze Today's Nuze:
This story comes from Variety, an entertainment magazine. Just read the first three paragraphs for yourself:
NEW YORK -- For the first time in its history, Fox News Channel beat the combined competition in primetime during the third quarter of 2004, with major headlines of the summer including the national political conventions and a brutal string of hurricanes.
According to Nielsen Media Research, Fox News averaged 1.8 million viewers, while CNN, MSNBC, CNBC and Headline News averaged a combined total of 1.7 million. The quarter ended Sunday.
CNN came in a distant second, averaging 882,000 viewers, while MSNBC drew 421,000. Headline News averaged 226,000 in primetime, and CNBC attracted a paltry 133,000
The article goes on to note that Fox News is also gaining strength against the broadcast networks. During the Republican national Convention Fox beat ABC, NBC and, of course, CBS. First time a cable news network has done that.
Look for the left to step up its attacks on Fox News. They rolled out Bruce Springsteen earlier this week to tell an anxiously awaiting world how the right wing and Fox News was all but destroying America.
Meanwhile, my challenge stands. Write me an email ... give me a call ... send me some snail mail detailing any right wing bias in the reporting of the news on Fox News Channel. For those of you who went to government schools and who, accordingly, vote for the big-government party ... expressions of opinion by commentators is not considered to be 'reporting the news.'"
