Okay, once more into the breech. If any of you gun control zealots would take the time to check into the real statistics, you would find that gun control laws generate more crime. It only makes sense, common sense. There are BAD GUYS out there, whether we like it or not. They want to do BAD THINGS to GOOD PEOPLE. If the GOOD PEOPLE HAVE GUNS THE BAD GUYS WILL THINK TWICE.

Personally I prefer to be protected by a method that handles the problem at 1750 feet per second, rather than a Policeman who arrives at 70 miles an hour in 20 minutes. I've read a number of statistics on gun control. One that keeps cropping up, and which I don't doubt, is that Americans defend their life and property one millon or more times a year with handguns. Do the math, there are 280 million people in this nation, do 1 million events sound unlikely?

Under "gun control" these law abiding citizens would be robbed, and/or raped, and/or killed.
