California Bill Advances to Put Serial Number on Every Handgun Bullet - from TBO.com

TBO.com
A state Senate committee approved a proposal Tuesday to put a serial number on every handgun bullet made or sold in California.
The measure cleared the Senate Public Safety Committee on a 4-2 vote over opposition from manufacturers, firearms dealers and sport shooters.

The technology exists to laser-cut bullets with a number that police could use to trace who purchased bullets used in crimes, said Democratic sponsor Sen. Joseph Dunn.

More leftist lunacy. Defacto gun registration. Hitler would have done this in 1934 if he had the technology. He convinced the "good" German people to give up their guns in 1935. Then he went to work ...

IMAO: "The Castle Doctrine" Would Be a Great Name for a Gun

Frank J at IMAO has the latest on the new Florida Law which, according to the Gun Control Wimps will be the end of the world as we know it.

You Go Florida.

Here is California's latest plan. To "serialize" ammunition.

Florida = Cocked and Locked

California = Cocked and frocked.

How sweet... Wake up left coast!

Why I Am a Democrat (satire folks)

From Dave Burge at iowahawk. Dave submitted this essay to the DNC in 2003 for a contest. Here is an example:

I am a Democrat because I believe everyone deserves a chance. And if necessary, a second chance. And if, by the eighth or ninth chance, this guy needs another chance, I mean, come on. This guy is due.

I am a Democrat because I believe in helping those in need. All of us, you and I, have an obligation to those less fortunate. You go first, okay? I'm a little short this week.

I am a Democrat because I believe in the equality of all people, regardless of their race. That is why I think we should give free medical degrees to minorities because, well, duh. Like any of those types are going to make it through medical school.

I am a Democrat because I fervently believe in tolerance. Tolerance is critical in our diverse society, and if you have a problem with that, mister, then I will inform the authorities and I bet that after a few hours in their "special room" you too will agree that tolerance is critical.
Priceless.

The Biden/Iranian Connection

The American Spectator:
"Biden has spoken in the past about his support for a nonaggression pact with Iran as means of discouraging that country's pursuit of nuclear weapons. A nonaggression pact was part of the discussion between Biden and Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi, during a 90-minute meeting the two men had on January 23, 2004, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Biden had not sought approval from the Bush administration for the meeting, despite the fact that the United States continues to hold the policy that there are no official relations with Iran. The fact that he used the meeting to criticize President Bush, his administration and the approach of then Secretary of State Colin Powell probably had something to do with that. According to the State Department source, Kharrazi returned to his delegation saying believing Biden was a man Iran could work with to both get diplomatic relations up and running while also building an nuclear arsenal."
Emphasis Mongo's. What was Joe doing? Can you say aid and comfort? Let us refresh our memories...

U.S. CONSTITUTION: "ARTICLE III. Section. 3.
Clause 1: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. "

The Democrat's Agenda

From Neal Boortz at boortz.com , I've reprinted the entire article, since Neal's Links don't seem to work well :

"Tuesday -- April 26, 2005

THE DEMOCRATS HAVE NO AGENDA?

Yesterday afternoon I did what I usually do after finishing my program; I checked in with the Godfather to see what was on his talk radio agenda. The Man was engaged in a riff about the partisan warfare between Democrats and Republicans and, as usual, doing a sensational job. One problem though. I could have sworn that I heard the words "The Democrats have no agenda." I'm probably mistaken there .. but just in case I wasn't driving through an area of high interference and actually heard him right .. I now offer an alternative opinion.

The Democrats most certain DO have an agenda. It's just not an agenda that they are anxious to promote. The Democratic agenda can be succinctly stated in just a few words: Make Americans ever more dependent on government, and thus dependent on Democrats. There's bandwidth to fill, however, so we'll use a few more words to explain just what the Democrats want to accomplish.

A significant part of the Democrat agenda is the war on individuality. This was is no fig newton of my imagination. Master Democrat Ted Kennedy has made reference to this war in just those terms. Following a New England Patriots Super Bowl win several years ago Kennedy stumbled up to the microphone to share in the celebration, there to praise the teamwork of the Patriots, so welcome at a time that we are engaged in a "war against individuality." So ... his words, not mine.

The war on individuality goes hand-in-hand with the Democrats goal of increasing dependency on government. People who celebrate their individuality are people who are far more likely to become successful and independent. They follow their own dreams, not those of the masses; and in so doing they become more self sufficient and less dependent on government. In case you haven't noticed, Democrats aren't particularly fond of the idea of people becoming less dependent on government.

There's another nasty little problem with the concept of individuality ... at least its a problem for Democrats. When you recognize (dare I say celebrate?) the concept of the individual, you then have to recognize that individuals have rights. Individual rights, not group rights. This would include the individual right to life, liberty and property. Democrats haven't yet made any objections they might have to the right to life apparent, but they take a back seat to nobody on their lack of respect for concepts of individual liberty and property rights. The one property right most troublesome to Democrats? That would be the right an individual has to the fruits of his labors.

More of the Democratic agenda? Look to government schools. Our children must be "educated" (indoctrinated) by the government. All possible means must be pursued to keep these children out of private schools where the influence of government is muted. Now the Democrats know that they can't attempt to outlaw private schools, at least not yet; but they certainly can make it as hard as possible for a parents to pursue that option. School choice is a dead issue with Democrats. Vouchers? Forget it. It's just not going to happen. The government gets to decide where and how your children are going to be "educated," and that's that. Our children must be taught that American is great because of its government. If these children are allowed to escape the government schools for a private education there's that chance that they will be taught the dangerous notion that America is great because of the dynamic of free people working cooperatively and competitively in a system based on individual liberty and economic freedom. The concept of individual liberty is incompatible with the goal of making people more dependent on government.

More of the Democrat agenda? How about socialized medicine? This is part and parcel of the effort to make people dependent on government. Personally, I think the Democrats have one this one. Socialized medicine in the United States is inevitable. Most Americans now believe that it is either the government's or their employer's responsibility to take care of their health needs. Last week I read you a story about some young high school athlete in Canada being put on a three-year waiting list for simple arthoscopic knee surgery. I had this surgery done five months ago. My waiting period? I saw the doctor for the first time on a Monday and the surgery was performed the following Thursday. Give the Democrats a chance to bring their socialized medicine to pass in our country and the wait will be months, if not years here. Socialized medicine is vitally important to Democrats. When you control a person's health care, you control that person. Besides .. .just think of the powerful election rhetoric socialized medicine will bring to Democrat politics: "If you elect Republicans or Libertarians they are going to make you pay for your own medical care."

Then there's "soak the rich" tax policies. How can you say that the Democrats have no agenda when they have made it abundantly clear that they would like nothing more than to see taxes raised on the evil, filthy, nasty, ugly rich. These government dependency programs take cash, and what better way to raise cash then to appease the gods of envy by raising taxes on the hated top 1% of income earners?

Is there more? You bet. Much more than I have time to present here.

Social Security. People must not own their own retirement accounts. The government must be in control. Control retirement, control the individual.

The United Nations. Weaken American by subjecting us to the whims of the international community through the world court and other UN institutions.

Talk Radio: Bring back the Fairness Doctrine to browbeat radio station owners into dropping conservative and libertarian talk radio shows.

Wealth confiscation: Levy a one-time tax on the outstanding balances in privately held retirement and pension accounts.
Control pension fund investments through government regulations ... a ploy to reward Democrat-friendly unions and businesses.

Shift more and more of the tax burden to the wealthiest Americans. Now that one-half of Americans have been relieved of the responsibility of paying any income taxes, give them a free ride on Social Security and Medicare taxes as well.

Paid "Family Leave." Make employers continue to pay the salaries of employees to take the 12-week family leave for a new baby, to care for a sick releative or just because they don't like to work on Mondays.

Government paid child care for all. Make the taxpayers pay for something that should be the responsibility of the parent.
Repeal the Second Amendment. Only the government should have guns.

No agenda? That sounds like quite an agenda to me, and one that I'm not particularly comfortable with. All they need now is the power to enact their agenda .. and with continued Republican missteps, like their interference in the Schiavo matter, they may soon realize that goal."

ACLU smoking dope at border?

Looks from this the All Communist Lawyers Union is doing other things than "monitoring" the Minutemen at the border. BWAAAAHHHHHAAAA.

Someone ought to knock the snot out of these libtards.

Gun Control Update Notes

HCI Credo Handgun Control Inc Believes:

"That it's wrong to make snide, sexist comments about women, unless the comments are about women who own guns.

That a gun with an 11 round magazine is dangerous, but a gun with fifteen 10 round magazines is much safer."

Boortz on ANWR

boortz.com: Nealz Nuze
"... Naturally, Democrats are opposed. So is the leftist mainstream media, which is (just like they always have) engaging in a disinformation campaign when it comes to ANWR. There are two methods the mainstream media uses to deceive television viewers when reporting on this issue.

First, if they do happen to show the area where the actual exploration will take place, they will only show it in the Summer .. when there will be no exploration activity. Only when the actual exploration area is covered with ice with the movement of equipment and machinery be permitted. There will be NO damage to the precious frozen tundra.

Second, they will show you areas of Alaska and of ANWR where there will be absolutely NO exploration or drilling. It's as if the media -- especially CNN -- is telling you "look at these wonderful mountains, pristine streams and meadows of wildflowers. How do you think oil rigs will look here? The fact is that there will be no oil exploration in the areas depicted. It's a con, a fraud ... and it is intentional."
Draw your own conclusions as to why the deception from the SMSM ... Here are mine:

The Socialists feel that:

1. America should not be the most powerful nation on earth. We should "share" power, so giving money to "people" like the Saudis is a good idea.

2. All Americans should drive Jugos, or the latest tree hugger Birkenstock shoed fad the Toyota Prius. Therefore we can be equally uncomfortable.

3. Americans who are fortunate enough to drive SUV's are evil. See this about a Cal State "student" who got eight years in the Federal prison system and is forced to pay $3.5 million in penalties for torching them.

4. As long as the USA stands strong, the dream of Transnational Socialism (do your own research) cannot be achieved.

"JUDICIAL ACTIVISM: The devil's workshop" -- St. Louis Post Disgrace Editorial

The Bejing Dispatch lambasted Tom DeLay for his comments about the courts, and about his comment specifically about Justice Kennedy, here STLtoday - News - Editorial / Commentary
"'We've got Justice Kennedy writing decisions based upon international law, not the Constitution of the United States. That's just outrageous,' Mr. DeLay told Fox News Radio on Tuesday. 'And not only that, but he said . . . he does his own research on the Internet. That is just incredibly outrageous.'
Okay, that is DeLay's quote. As far as I know they quoted him accurately. I don't know what DeLay meant with his internet reference, but the international law quote is accurate. Here is how the libtards at the Post rebut him:
For the record, Justice Kennedy based the juvenile death penalty decision on the U.S. Constitution, not international law. He said the international consensus against the death penalty for juveniles lent support to the national consensus - that would be our nation, not France - that had developed against it.
Yes, he based it on "national consensus" N0T THE LAW. DON'T YOU GET IT? What a bunch of idiots at the editorial board of the Post. They make DeLay's point with their own arguments. And just where did this "national consensus" come from ... the New York Times? the Washington Post? a cocktail party Kennedy was at recently?

He stressed that the decision was based on the court's finding that the evolving standard of decency in the United States now recognized these executions as cruel and unusual punishment in violation of the Eighth Amendment. That's the Eighth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, Mr. DeLay.
WHAT THE HELL IS THE "EVOLVING STANDARD OF DECENCY"??? WHERE DO I FIND IT IN THE CONSTITUTION?

Here are Justice Kennedy's own words: 'The opinion of the world community, while not controlling our outcome, does provide respected and significant confirmation for our own conclusions.'
GOOD ANTHONY. WHEN YOU GO TO YOUR COCKTAIL PARTY YOU CAN TALK WITH THE FROGS AND KRAUTS ABOUT IT ...

Hey Post Disgrace... The Constitution has led us to the longest current government in the world. Your support of UNELECTED judges mandating laws which fit your minority view is wrong. There will be some changes made in the ranks of the judiciary which you will not like.

Tough.

If your views and failed socialist plans were popular you actually could elect people who would push them in the light of day. Instead of being courageous (perish that thought), the Democrats you consistently support install UNELECTED minions to do the liberal dirty work from the benches of our courts. Why? Because the liberal agenda cannot stand the light of day, and you and the Democrats know it. Cowards and manipulators should not stand long in this Nation. You've gotten away with it for decades and "the times they are a changin'".

Ted Nugent on Gun Control ..

Ted tells us how he feels at My Way News :
"Nugent sang and played a guitar painted with red and white stripes for the crowd at Houston's downtown convention center.

He drew the most cheers when he told gun owners they should never give up their right to bear arms and should use their guns to protect themselves if needed.

'Remember the Alamo! Shoot 'em!' he screamed to applause. 'To show you how radical I am, I want carjackers dead. I want rapists dead. I want burglars dead. I want child molesters dead. I want the bad guys dead. No court case. No parole. No early release. I want 'em dead. Get a gun and when they attack you, shoot 'em.' "

Ted needs to be less diplomatic, but good points, all.

The new Holy Father. The AP, New York Times, and the St. Louis Post Dispatch say you are a "hard line conservative" . May God Give you Strength, Pontiff. Sounds like you are my kind of guy, or Pope, or ... (I'm a protestant, sorry.)

Jane Fonda's "Life So Far"

Just a quick note. Hanoi Jane's book is at #30 at Amazon.com this morning. It seems that all the press and pre publishing promo BS didn't do a thing.

Gee Jane, do you think the American People have figured out that you are a no talent, boring, traitorous skank?

Hearing about catching Ted in bed with someone else after one month of marriage wasn't so interesting was it?

Truth is Jane, there are a bunch of people out here who want you to simply crawl into a dumpster and act like what you are ... yesterday's garbage.

There Are No Barbarians At the Gates

An excellent essay from The High Road regarding the condition of our Nation, and the reasons to fight any effort at gun control. Emphasis is Mongo's --
"... the Founding Fathers knew well, and it is the reason they wrote 'A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state,' into the Second Amendment. Their perception, their genius, was that an armed population, ready and willing to fight for their freedoms, was the only sure defense against the barbarians. And their wisdom proved to be still relevant nearly two hundred years later, when Admiral Yamamoto told Prime Minister Tojo, 'You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.'"

The article points out that there are now no barbarians at our gates. They are in our airplanes, our schools, our streets, our homes. We reserve the right, and demand the right to defend ourselves and those we hold dear.

An Open Letter to Sarah Brady, Angel of Doom

I can't say this any better. From individ:
"An Open Letter to Sarah Brady, Angel of Doom

In response to the shooting tragedy that unfolded at the high school in northern MN last week, Sarah Brady, chair of the Brady Campaign, wondered when the nation's leaders will have had enough: 'When will the government do something to help stop the bloodshed?'.

Yes, Sarah. When WILL the government repeal the lion share of the 22,000 repressive, human rights-violating gun laws on the books in this country?

Yes, Sarah, the gun laws that do not work in the least, according to the CDC and the NAS

Yes, Sarah, the laws that make it impossible for a law-abiding citizen in the District of Columbia to protect their own family in their own home.

Yes Sarah, the laws that leave people in our inner cities so defenseless, that they will not come forward to report crimes in their own neighborhoods, because, on their block, ONLY the criminals are armed.

Yes, Sarah, the laws that prevent law-abiding citizens from protecting themselves and their children outside their own home.

Yes, Sarah, when will the government stop raping its citizens of their Worth and Dignity?

And, Sarah, when will you stop your oppression of the basic civil rights of 'we, the people'?

And, Sarah, how much longer will you continue to deprive minorities, the elderly and the infirm, indeed, each and every individual, of the basic human right to defend themselves and their loved ones?

When, Sarah, when will you accept the responsibility for the murder of all the people, the men, women, whom you have disarmed, many of whom have little, helpless, children in their care?

Criminals are not gun-free, Sarah - no more than they are drug-free in the face of a national prohibition against drugs. It is the INNOCENT you you disarm Sarah. The INNOCENT.

How Long, Sarah?

UNHINGED LIBERAL PRODUCTS FOR SALE

Michelle Malkin finds disgusting, unfunny, and interesting liberal products advocating the President's assassination, and so forth.

It is amazing to me that the "enlightened" Left embraces products like this, as well as Woopie Goldberg referring to her "bush", and numerous other insults and abominations. Now I hear that Howie Stern has embraced Jane Fonda. More of the same.

Read some liberal hate sites (Koz, Washington Monthly) and see the "politically correct" hypocrites at their best.

Voters were intimidated at polls, Kerry says

Yep the "hero" is at it again (emphasis Mongo's) :
"BOSTON -- Many voters in last year's presidential election were denied access to the polls through trickery and intimidation, former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry told a voters' group Sunday.

''Last year too many people were denied their right to vote, too many who tried to vote were intimidated,'' the Massachusetts senator said at an event sponsored by the state League of Women Voters.

''There is no magic wand. No one person is going to stand up and suddenly say it's going to change tomorrow. You have to do that,'' he said.

Kerry backers have said voting irregularities in largely Democratic areas made it difficult for voters to cast ballots in the November election. A lawsuit in Ohio cited long lines and a voting machine shortage in predominantly minority neighborhoods, but the Ohio Supreme Court dismissed the suit."
Here we go again. Recognize this for what it is ... the race card. Lemme see here ... Democratic areas (meaning controlled by Democrats) I guess they can't control their own areas, like St. Louis, for example. The St. Louis Mayor is a Democrat, and was reelected last Tuesday. No Republican ran. I guess what Kerry means is that we should leave the polls open on a "disenfranchised voter" pretext like they tried in St. Louis in 2000. That way you can have extra time to pack the ballot boxes, since you are too lazy and disorganized to get it done in the alloted time. It is a "fairness" issue.

Sooner or later, people are going to become sick of having their votes diluted by this graft.

Democracy, Birds, And Snails

Fred Reed - MensNewsDaily.com
"America does not have a free press. The media are big business and speak for those who own big business. They lie and distort and always have. Now, however, they all lie and distort identically; here is the rub. Their function is to herd the sheep.

The public knows only what it is allowed to know, except for the tiny few who go to the internet. 'Political correctness' is not an annoying fad. It is a deadly serious means of preventing public discussion of things that those in power do not want discussed (for example, race, affirmative action, illegal immigration.)

In the words of the great political philosopher Fredwitz, democracy is communism continued by other means. Pretty much, anyway."

The Minutemen

Here is an ASSociated Antiamerican Press Story Yahoo! News - Border Patrol Complains About Volunteers
.. Adame said apprehension numbers have gone down since the volunteers arrived, an indication fewer people might be trying to cross. But he also noted the Mexican military and police have apparently been conducting an operation south of the border town of Naco, which tends to drive down crossings.

"No one's crossing and that was the goal, to show the government that if we have people out here no one's going to cross," said Chris Simcox, Minuteman field operations director.
The ASSociated ASSwipes don't like the Minutemen (or the thought that just plain Americans can defend our home and country), but this story says they are being effective. Maybe if we had talked to the French the AP would have a different opinion ...

St. Peter's in Chains

The American Spectator -- George Neumayr
"Why would people who hate the Church pose as reformers who know what's best for it? Why would they care so passionately about the direction of a religion to which they don't belong? For the same reason the French philosophes and revolutionaries monitored and pressured the Church: it is a force that they must either neutralize or hijack in order to achieve their designs for the world. "

Two-thirds of world's resources 'used up'

Caught this at The Guardian a couple of days ago. Obviously I was so shocked I immediately felt the need to comment on this Junk Science. Not.

Anyway here is the lead in (with Mongo's Emphasis added):

The human race is living beyond its means. A report backed by 1,360 scientists from 95 countries - some of them world leaders in their fields - today warns that the almost two-thirds of the natural machinery that supports life on Earth is being degraded by human pressure.
Okay we are living beyond our means... so says 1,360 scientist whose careers depend on keeping this story alive, otherwise who needs them? Oh, by the way "some of them" are world leaders (on a level with Kofi? Mugabe? Fidel?).

The headline says "used up", the body of the story says "being degraded". Which is true?

The study contains what its authors call "a stark warning" for the entire world. The wetlands, forests, savannahs, estuaries, coastal fisheries and other habitats that recycle air, water and nutrients for all living creatures are being irretrievably damaged. In effect, one species is now a hazard to the other 10 million or so on the planet, and to itself.
Yep, let's sing Kumbaya to Gaia. The nasty humans are "a hazard".

Let's outlaw DDT so we can slaughter millions of them by malaria (just the black and brown ones, please.) The hits just keep coming. These "experts" want humans to stop whatever we are doing and sit and starve so the snail darter can live free.

Tom Clancy had a wonderful ending to one of his "Rainbow Six" books (I can't remember which one, and this is a spoiler if you plan to read him) where the tree huggers are left naked in the Amazon Jungle to survive. Maybe we can start out with the 1,360 scientists in this article to see if it works (okay less the "world leaders")...1359?

"Human activity is putting such a strain on the natural functions of Earth that the ability of the planet's ecosystems to sustain future generations can no longer be taken for granted," it says.
Okay. Humans bad Earth good.

The report, prepared in Washington under the supervision of a board chaired by Robert Watson, the British-born chief scientist at the World Bank and a former scientific adviser to the White House, will be launched today at the Royal Society in London. It warns that...

Okay here is Robert T. Watson.

Former Clinton Administration advisor (go figure). Here is his title at the World Bank "Chief Scientist and Director, Environmentally and Socially Sustainable Development Network -- Chair of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change" Wow. Take a look at this Libtard and ask yourself one question. "Does this look like a man who knows the fate of the world?" Maybe ask another question ... "Are his Birkenstocks clean?"

Chicago pol wants living will forms at libraries

James Taranto from the Wall Street Journal caught this artice in the from the Chicago Sun-Times
"'I think we've all been watching in consternation as this tragedy played out over the last several months. ... No family should have to suffer the way Terri Schiavo's family did,' Burke said. 'Everyone should have a living will.'
Burke also plans to propose an amendment to the municipal code whereby living wills could be filed with the city clerk so that 'in the event the living will is lost or misplaced a family member can gain access to it,' Burke said."

James and I have the same point. While it is a good idea to have the Living Will available, will it be able to have voting selections for the Chicago deceased, or will they continue to vote Democrat?

Top 10 categories of Media Bias

The Cassandra Page nails media bias. Thanks to Gateway Pundit for the heads up. Cassandra hits on all the tactics used by the SMSM but after #1 "the lie" comes up with the tactic that I talk about all the time...(emphasis mine)

"The memory hole. The tactic here is to forget that certain events occurred and hope that everyone else does also. This tactic requires that the MSM/DNC not only stop talking about some fact, but actually help it to disappear. The MSM/DNC never talks about the WMD's that we actually did find in Iraq.

Just before the election, NBC interviewed John Kerry and asked about his military IQ test. Kerry stated that this record was not public (a blatant contradiction of Kerry's story that he has released ALL of his military records). The next day, excerpts of this interview appeared on another NBC program, with the damning admission excised. The actual editing out of inconvenient facts provides a great example of a memory hole maneuver..."

This stuff happens all the time. Whenever a Dem screws up or missays anything it is conveniently forgotten. The Lord blessed me with a good memory, and until the blogs confirmed what I already knew, I sometimes thought I was imagining that "he said that". No one would catch it.

A good example of the memory hole was Kerry's "global test" line in the Presidential Debates. i.e. we can't defend our nation unless there is a "global test" passed.

That was what the commie sob said.

When he said it, I jumped out of my chair, and had I been President Bush I would have bludgeoned Kerry with that statement the rest of the debate until he was a bloody spot on the floor. I called my dad (who watched the old alphabet soup gang CBS, NBC, lah di dah) the next day and remarked about the line, and he said "he didn't say that".

Apparently the SMSM didn't feel compelled to report the fact that a candidate for the Commander in Chief would not defend our nation unless he had agreement from the French, etc.

Well, I blew up, told my dad to wait, and e-mailed him a transcript of the debate, and several blog links. I could not have done that without the web and the blogs.

The SMSM/DNC are finding out to their detriment that the "big lie" and the convenient disappearance of events, facts, and issues which do not support their cause is not going to pass anymore.

I've caught several stories where moderate Democrats are pressing their leftist brothers and sisters to lighten up on gun control, among other issues. Let's take their cooperation, get our agenda passed into law, and then vote the shitheels out of office.

The real war at your door

J.B. Williams - MensNewsDaily.com:
Subversion is defined as "a systematic attempt to overthrow or undermine a government or political system by persons working secretly from within".

In this case, American ideology, philosophy and foundational principles, in short, our political system has been slowly, quietly, methodically undermined for decades on three separate fronts, academia, the press and the courts.

When Americans no longer know that they live in a representative republic based on Judeo Christian principles, rather than a simple secular democracy, no longer know or care what the difference is between the two, that's a problem. When they no longer recognize that America's greatness is built and dependent upon a capitalist economic system and could not have been built any other way, our entire political system has indeed been undermined.

The Battle of Okinawa -- April 1, 1945

Today is the 60th anniversary of the invasion of the Island of Okinawa, which my old man participated in as a member of the Striking Sixth Marines.

HOO RAH POP!! Go to the Legion today and lift one on me (I'll catch up with you).

Some Okinawa Facts: ." Global Security.Org

"Okinawa was the largest amphibious invasion of the Pacific campaign and the last major campaign of the Pacific War. More ships were used, more troops put ashore, more supplies transported, more bombs dropped, more naval guns fired against shore targets than any other operation in the Pacific.

More people died during the Battle of Okinawa than all those killed during the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Casualties totaled more than 38,000 Americans wounded and 12,000 killed or missing, more than 107,000 Japanese and Okinawan conscripts killed, and perhaps 100,000 Okinawan civilians who perished in the battle."
The battle also was the most costly the Navy has ever fought.

"A DISASTER FOR RACE RELATIONS IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA
Race warlords in Georgia are screaming. They are mightily upset. 'Governor Perdue, don't sign this bill!!!!' Oh the humanity. This hideous and horrible bill is being cast by race pimps as 'a disaster for race relations in the State of Georgia.'

One black legislator said that this new bill was 'spitting on the grave of Martin Luther King, Jr.' This bill is so bad that black lawmakers staged a walkout when the measure was debated earlier this month. They said that it could turn back the clock on civil rights. 'It's an attack on the rights of minorities.'

So, what's going on? Well, it seems that both the Georgia House and Senate have passed bills requiring all voters to show some kind of picture ID before they can cast a vote. Any one of six different types of picture ID will do. A Driver's license will work, even if it is expired. The law provides for free state-issued picture IDs for anyone who wants one. Still, the race pimps aren't satisfied.

You know what's going on here, don't you? Voter fraud is a reality, and across this country most of the votes that are illegally cast are cast for Democrats. It is Democrats who are driving the demands that non-citizens be allowed to vote in local elections. It is Democrats who are even insisting that illegal aliens be permitted to vote in some areas. It is Democrats who have opposed each and every move, no matter where, to attempt to clean up the election process by making sure that people who vote are actually legally qualified to vote. It is Democrats who want felons to vote! They know that felons will, by and large, vote for Democrats.

I'll say it again. Most illegally cast votes are cast for Democrats. Democrats have been at the forefront of every move to loosen voting restrictions and to counter any attempt to combat voter fraud.

Now .. if you really want to hear Democrats howl ... make it easier for military personnel to vote. Military personnel, you see, usually vote Republican.
Neal says it all, but on a local note, Mongo sees that several people (elected officials, even) in East St. Louis have been convicted in Federal (no surprise on the venue) Court for BUYING VOTES. Gosh, more investigation by your intrepid reporter, Mongo, found that these folks involved were DEMOCRATS. THE HORROR ... the horror.

Same thing on the Missouri side of the river in the Cesspool we call St. Louis Politics. Remember 2000? The a holes couldn't stuff the ballot boxes fast enough, so they left the polls open.

People died for our right to vote in this country. From Boss Tweed to Da Mayor to the present Democrats -- burn.
